FCS CHAPEL OF GRACE, FEDACAD NEWSLETTER

The Church of God in the premises of the Federal Government Academy, Suleja is nothing but an uncompleted building which has been sitting close to the school entrance for eighteen(18) good years(from year 2000 till present). It is the first thing an observable person would see when entering into the school premises because of its huge size. It would have been a more eye-catching facility if  it has been completed. Several attempts and efforts have always been made to raise the building but instead all efforts remain futile always. It has been once raised to roof level with the help of heartily donations from parents and funds derived from the payment of termly dues by each student that belongs to the FCS. To certain extent, the efforts made by the patron of this Godly society have been able to make a few amount of students pay these dues, while a lot of efforts are made futile as some students do not deliver the newsletter given to them to their parents let alone paying up.
A sample of the newsletter is below:



Dear Esteemed parents,

The FCS body wishes to acknowledge and appreciate your magnanimous gifts sent through our children to us in time past. We kindly appeal for your assistance towards the completion of our church building irrespective of your kind-hearted assistance in the time past.

Thus far, the Lord has helped us to reach the lintel level and it is our desire to roof the house of God in order to have a conducive place of worship void of interference from the kitchen or dining hall.

To this effect, we solicit your assistance and the items of major importance include:

  • Roofing sheets
  • Roofing planks
  • Ceiling materials
  • Doors
  • Windows
  • Nails

The first ever Fedcol football competition had its final displayed on the field of the college. The competition comprised all Unity schools in the federation competing first at zonal levels and then gathering in the school premises for the semi-finals and final. JSS 1 RESUMPTION AND WELCOME PARTY..

RESUMPTION: The Jss 1 students resumed in October and had long settled and as well integrated into the school system and life. A welcome party was organised in their honor to welcome them. It comprised several competitions such as Mathematics competition organised by one of the school teachers- Mr Otunubi with members of Prof. Jubril Aminu hostel emerging winners and other competitions such as eating competitions, dancing round the chair and most importantly a beauty pageant of who Miss Esther Matthew of JSS 1C emerged the bearer of the crown hence being nicknamed the new "miss Jss 1". he various religous societies also welcomed them in their special ways. FEDACAD BEST PUBLIC SCHOOL IN NIGERIA

The school has always been on top and is at the utmost this time leading all the unity schools among other public schools in the country in the last WASSCE. The school had hundred percent credit pass in both English and Mathematics and recorded A's in most of the subjects. The school was honored by the Minister with an award which was presented to the PFA at the annual meeting of Principals of Unity Colleges which held this year in Enugu.
